TriMetrix - Tools for Selecting Employee Talent
Every organization strives for excellence and success. Part of achieving success is having the right employees
working towards common goals. This includes all types of employees from your supporters to directors.
The first step to selecting talent is identifying what talent means for a specific organization. This will vary
slightly from one organization to the next, even within the same industry. As a researcher and developer of
organizational and employee development tools, we refer to talent as the positive aspects and performance potential
an employee brings to the organization.
By positive aspects and performance potential, we mean behavioral characteristics, attitudes, attributes, experience
and education. This is considered a whole-person approach to selecting talent. We offer assessments to enhance
self-awareness and management awareness of a person's behavioral characteristics, attributes and attitudes. For a

Information provided in the TriMetrix Personal Talent report gives a manager insight on how the employee naturally
approaches problems and influences people. In addition, it will show the employee's ideal activity level and desire
for structure and procedures. The attitudes portion will give information on the natural motivators that drive the
person into action. This can give insight to the reasons the person will perform the job. The attributes section
will give information on the personal skills a person brings to the job.
Properly selecting talent for an organization can be a key competitive advantage in today's workforce. It will lead
to higher productivity, job satisfaction, increased morale and decreased turnover.
